The wait is almost over. Second part of the Formula 1 season is fast approaching. Belgium and the high-speed Spa-Francorchamps will be the next stop on the F1 calendar. The nearly one-month summer break saw Aston Martin Red Bull Racing promote Alex Albon as Max Verstappen’s new teammate. Pierre Gasly will be racing for Toro Rosso for the remaining of the season.

Albon, who has scored 16 points so far this season, has been ecstatic about the opportunity to represent Aston Martin Red Bull Racing starting from the Belgian Grand Prix. He shared his delight on Social Media by saying: “Surreal to have been given this massive opportunity”.

The F1 race in Belgium is a very important one for Scuderia Ferrari as the fast Spa-Francorchamps track gives them an opportunity to bridge the gap to their rivals from Mercedes and Red Bull as recent wins for Max Verstappen in Austria and Germany saw him overtake Sebastian Vettel in 3rd place in the current ranking. Five-time Formula 1 Champion Lewis Hamilton sits comfortably in 1st with teammate Valtteri Bottas in 2nd.
