Andrew Gn Worn Well by the Ladies of F1
Andrew Gn’s designs stunned the audience at Amber Lounge Fashion 2013
The models walked the runway last evening, wearing Andrew Gn’s opulent designs, which boasted
luxurious fabrics and detailed handiwork – qualities that ring true for haute couture. The Singapore-
born, Paris based designer develops his embroideries in-house and creates his own embellishments, to
make every dress he designs a one-of-a-kind event. It’s no wonder that his clientele includes some of
the world’s biggest stars: Demi Moore, Jennifer Lopez, Beyoncé and Eva Longoria being just a handful
Yesterday also saw the Ladies of F1 dressed in Andrew Gn’s designs on the catwalk. They walked to the
tune of Brian McFadden’s performance of Westlife’s hit song “Flying Without Wings,” in front of an
audience made up of world renowned athletes, Hollywood icons, artists and musicians, all cheering the
ladies around the catwalk.
This year, from the Ladies of F1, the catwalk saw the likes of:
Sonia Irvine Natalie Pinkham
Jessica Michibata Laura Jordan
Tamara Boullier Emilia Pikkarainen
Jennifer Beck Catherine Hyde
Hosted at Le Meridien Beach Plaza’s stunning poolside,
this year’s Amber Lounge Fashion supported the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, and the auction presented
by Charlie Ross featured lots such as the chance to be the first member of the public to drive the new
Rolls-Royce Wraith, a copy of Nelson Mandela’s leatherbound and hand-signed “A Long Walk to Freedom”
(only 500 printed), artwork by Sacha Jafri, and a special holiday to South Africa accompanied by a signed
Nelson Mandela memory board donated by H.S.H. Princess Charlene of Monaco.
Andrew Gn’s dresses were presented by Pretty You Monaco.
